My journey started at 18, when I found myself homeless and navigating life with a disability—on my own. I’ve experienced what it’s like to search for stability, only to have it slip away because of systemic barriers, inaccessible housing, or discriminatory practices. Each time I rebuilt, I learned more about the gaps in our housing systems—gaps that far too many people fall through.
I watched the homelessness rate go up, not down. I saw policies that were meant to protect people fail them instead. And I realized that change wasn’t going to come from the top down—it would have to come from people like me, who had lived it.
That’s what drives my work today.
I’m currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies, on track to become a certified ADA Coordinator, and awaiting my license as a notary public. I founded Spokane Mediation Services to bring practical, empathetic conflict resolution to the housing world—serving tenants, landlords, and property managers who need a path forward.
But I’m not stopping here. My long-term goal is to become an attorney focused on real estate and housing law. I believe in building a system where rights are upheld, where accessibility is non-negotiable, and where stability is possible for everyone—especially those who’ve been pushed to the margins.
